Why have an independent 3rd party like TMG review your strategy? There are three reasons in our opinion. Experience: Your reviewer has the benefit of more than 20 years strategy development experience with over 100 clients across many industries. You get the benefit of all that experience applied to your strategy in a very compressed time frame.Independence: Your reviewer has no pre-existing assumptions and no stake in any existing strategy and is well placed to identify both opportunities for making improvements in your analysis, strategy logic, business case and use of tools and frameworks. You get the benefit of feedback without fear or favour; no group think; no sacred cows - just unfettered feedback. Knowledge: Your reviewer has specialised in the strategy development process, skilled in dozens of tools, frameworks and processes. Your reviewer has a 20 year career commitment to staying abreast of new and emergent strategy development thining, both in formal qualifications and in extensive reading. You get the benefit of an up to date specialist. Before you begin your next cycle of strategy development, TMG will review your last strategy document and make recommendations on how, where and why you can make improvements. The process is confidential, fast and simple. Confidential: We exchange with you, a confidentiality agreement (we have a suitable document or your firm may have one also) Fast: From start to finish the turnaround can be as fast as 3 days. The actual time it will take will be committed to you at the time when you brief us and has varied up to 10 days. (for clients with more documentation and more detailed requirements) Simple: You brief us by phone and send us the existing strategy document(s). We establish a phone conference time to ask clarification questions, then complete documentation of the review. We send you the review and recommendations. When you have read them, we de-brief by phone. What will your review include?Every client briefs us slightly differently. For example, you may be wanting to improve your strategic logic and documentation to raise capital. Alternatively, you may be at a point where the strategy is not producing the intended results and you need 'fresh eyes' as to how to break new ground in a robust and reliable manner. Your brief will influence the orientation and priorities in the review you receive. Nonetheless, there are common elements to most reviews. You should expect to receive details on important opportunities for you to leverage more from your understanding and use of;
Once we have provided our report to you, the debriefing can take place in person but is often by phone or web meeting. To find out more and discuss cost and time frame, simply contact us by phone or email. We'd be happy to have our Director of Consulting call you for a confidential, no obligation discussion.
